MORE ABOUT OUR SERVICES

Georgina Island First Nation is the "Jewel of Lake Simcoe".

Our island is surrounded by its beautiful, historic waters. The lake is the fourth largest lake in Ontario and hosts an incredible variety of recreation activities.  Boating, jet-skiing, windsurfing, fishing and more, are popular summer attractions.  Many cottages dot the landscape around the lake.  Our winter fishing is second to none, and the lake is renowned as the "Ice Fishing Capital of Canada."

Island View Business Centre is an epicenter of activity throughout the year and we invite you to visit us to learn more.

An exciting retail destination, Tobacco Trails showcases a great selection of quality native crafts and decor, in addition to offering a variety of cigarettes (both native and premium brands) and cigar products.  We are pleased to host a lottery kiosk and offer a debit machine for your shopping convenience.

We are proud to be "Clean Marine Certified" and work hard to ensure that we respect environmental practices that reduce and prevent water, air, and land pollution associated with recreational boating activities on beautiful Lake Simcoe.  We offer a range of boat slips and docking packages for our customers, as well as gas and propane fueling services, and pumps outs.  Our winterizing services and boat storage helps ensure that vessels are protected and safely stored in preparation for the next season.

Established in the fall of 2019, Daawegamig is our most recent retail venture.  It offers a variety of First Nation sourced cannabis and cannabis-infused products.  Its main purpose is to offer a safe, dependable source for First Nation members to access their recreational needs, as well as providing another avenue of employment and support for our community.

In addition to the IVBC managed business ventures above, we also offer retail and leasing space in our beautiful new complex.  Completed in 2016, the complex hosts the popular Boondocks Restaurant, a law firm, and The First Nation's Land Management Resource Centre Inc.  We are currently looking into various other investments and may be offering other leasing opportunities in the future.
